ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS THE KEY FOR LONG-LASTING IMPLANTS.

Failing to diagnose underlying causes of dental health issues and carefully plan your dental implant treatment in the context of dento-facial structure harmony, can end up creating an endless cycle of new problems with eating, chewing and even speech, necessitating further interventions.

Choosing the experience and expertise of our world-leading Prosthodontists delivers four major benefits:

YOUR IMPLANT TREATMENT IS PERFORMED BY THOSE WHO TEACH THE REST.
Our prosthodontists actively contribute to the field by teaching others and have authored and published dental implant research in reputable journals and textbooks. ONLY TOP-TIERED GLOBAL GOLD STANDARD IMPLANTS IS USED FOR YOUR TREATMENT.

Our prosthodontists exclusively opt for dental implant systems of several top tiered dental implant companies that uphold premium quality, to provide the peace of mind that our work lasts as long as possible.

Centre for Prosthodontics has a trusted partnership with Straumann, renowned as a leader in dental implantology and regenerative biomaterials, setting global industry benchmarks and supported by the largest scientific research network worldwide.

YOUR IMPLANT IS SELECTED SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR NEEDS.

Leveraging specialised expertise and knowledge, our prosthodontists employ cutting-edge digital 3D scanning equipment to assess your bone and gum volume, cosmetic considerations, and bite requirements. This meticulous analysis aids in developing a precise plan and selecting the most suitable implant for your needs. By doing so, we ensure the avoidance of potential damage to surrounding nerves and arteries while promoting optimal integration of the implant into your bone.

YOUR IMPLANT TREATMENT MAY LAST LONGER WITH REDUCED CHANCES OF COMPLICATIONS.
The key to implant treatment success not only lies in treatment execution, but also in our experience and expertise to diagnose the root cause of your tooth loss in the first place. This is crucial as it influences how our prosthodontists customise your treatment to mitigate associated risks and potential complications, and more importantly drive the implementation of a maintenance program and equipping you with care instructions for a long term successful outcome.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need a referral to visit the centre for prosthodontics?

Yes, a referral from your dentist is needed before booking an appointment with our team.

What is the difference between a prosthodontist and a dentist?

Prosthodontists have undertaken an extra 3 years full time specialist dental training specifically in complex reconstructive, cosmetics and implant dentistry, in addition to general dentist qualifications, and as such are equipped with a variety of advanced techniques and skills to solve complex dental issues beyond the practice scope of general dentists.

How do I know if my problem requires a specialist prosthodontist?

For those patients who have had repeated dental problems associated with cosmetic and functional needs or high expectations, we recommend seeing your dentist before commencing any dental work – they may refer you to a Prosthodontist depending on their skill level and the complexity of the work required.

How many appointments will I need?

This depends on the complexity required to solve your problem. Typically we will complete a minimum of two appointments before undertaking any work. In the first we understand your issue and discuss your goals and options. During this appointment we may also run some simple tests to help inform our planning. We then develop a treatment plan, which we will discuss with you in your second appointment. This will include details of all subsequent appointments you will require, and details of the costs involved.

How do I know what treatment I need?

You won’t know until we have completed a treatment plan. Your plan may contain one, or a combination of treatment options to solve your problem. Given everyone’s teeth and facial structure, and problems, are different, there is no way to confidently recommend one treatment before undertaking a thorough analysis.

How much will my treatment cost?

Until we have a full plan in place we unfortunately cannot give cost estimates, as all our work is completed bespoke for each patient. However, all costs associated with your treatment are provided in detail before any work begins.

NOT SURE WHAT TREATMENT YOU NEED?

While you can access our services without a referral, we strongly suggest you speak to your dentist first. Our team are available to help discuss your options.
