Your success is
our success

We treat our referrers
as partners.

As our partner our goal is to support your business and professional development through three offerings:

Reconstructive Dentistry Perth - Centre for Prosthodontics
Reconstructive Dentistry Perth - Centre for Prosthodontics

Become a
partner.

Referrals can be made online here, or by calling 08 9368 0888.

For each patient we treat, we shall communicate with the referrer at various stages of their treatment including the finalisation of treatment plan after a comprehensive discussion, treatment progress updates after investigation, completion stage and maintenance updates. In doing so, this approach ensures that referrers stay informed of your patient’s treatment.

Referral Information

HOW DO I REFER?

A referral can be made through our website at this page: https://centreforprosthodontics.com.au/make-a-referral/, or by calling (08) 9368 0888. Patients can contact us directly without a referral, however we typically direct all enquiries back to the client’s dentist to ensure continuity of care.

WHEN SHOULD A PATIENT BE REFERRED TO A PROSTHODONTIST?

Prosthodontists specialise in complex dental treatments. Typically a patient is referred to a Prosthodontist because the treatment required is outside the referrers skillset, or they don’t have the time required to adequately address the problem themselves.

WHAT SPECIALIST SKILLS DOES A PROSTHODONTIST HAVE?

Prosthodontists have completed a minimum 3 additional years of formal education, after completion of a dental degree. These years of training cover advanced dental techniques and treatments and equip the Prosthodontists with the skills to solve challenging and complex dental problems.

WHAT COMMUNICATION SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER REFERRAL?

We will confirm with you that your referral has been received, and then inform you of when the initial consultation appointment will be completed. Often diagnostic data collection and detailed treatment plan discussion will take place over the few weeks after the initial consultation appointment. Once the finalisation of treatment plan is achieved after a comprehensive discussion with the patient, our team will send you a consultation letter outlining our clinical findings, diagnoses and proposed treatment plan. In due course, treatment progress updates after investigation, completion stage and maintenance updates will also be communicated via letter correspondence to keep you informed on the scope of work received by your patient.
