Concerns:
  • Bleeding gums and bad taste in the mouth.
Diagnosis:
  • Poor dental crown and bridge work done in Poland – poor margin fit to tooth surface with excess dental cement encroaching inflamed gum
  • Severe periodontitis / periodontal disease (gum and bone infection) – leading to gum pain, bleeding, suppuration pus drainage and swelling.
  • Possible allergic reaction to dental crown and bridge work material.
Management:
  • Ongoing periodontal therapy (gum and bone) and monitoring – proposed replacement of pre-existing dental crown and bridge work, restore heavily broken down teeth and implant / denture replacement of multiple missing teeth
