Starting your career in dentistry can feel very different from university. Clinical decisions become more complex, uncertainty is part of everyday practice, and sometimes you simply wish you could ask another clinician, “What would you do in this case?”
Join us for an interactive Study Club designed specifically for recent graduates, where we’ll explore the unexpected skills that shape confident clinical decision-making.
Rather than a traditional lecture, this session will use real clinical scenarios to discuss topics such as:
- Managing uncertainty in everyday practice
-
Treatment planning and clinical judgement
-
Knowing when to pause, monitor or refer
-
Communicating confidently with patients
-
Building confidence without feeling like you need all the answers
Recent graduates are encouraged to bring de-identified clinical cases for discussion.
Whether you’re unsure about a diagnosis, treatment planning, or simply want another perspective, this is an opportunity to think through cases alongside CFP prosthodontists and your peers in a supportive, judgement-free environment.
If you’d prefer to remain anonymous, you’re welcome to send your case to us ahead of time and it can be presented anonymously during the session.
Because some of the best learning happens through real clinical conversations.
Time: 7:00PM
